Day 4 - Le Mans

Our first day of moving camp. Samuel woke us just before 7. Another lovely breakfast of bread and Jam with pain au chocs sheltering in the tent. Such a lot to organise and attempt to fit in the top box like a puzzle, packing as much as possible while Samuel napped. Finally Lee got it arranged successfully. Taking down the tent was a bit hurried in the rain but we managed to get most of it done before the rain properly started with Samuel sitting happily under an umbrella.

Off to Le Mans it was wet most of the way. We learned another lesson to try and park a bit out of town when driving with a roof box! 2pm and starving we quickly chose a pizzeria and again Gryff was welcome. Feeling a lot happier we had bout 30mins to explore before heading back to the car.

Back on the road to our next stop.

We managed to get most of the tent up before Samuel woke, then plonked him next to Gryff in the evening sunshine. Another shower started just as he was enjoying his bath beside the Loire.

Simple supper of soup and pain au cereals enjoying the river view and trying to avoid the mozzies.

Samuel was rather hard work during the night.
