Today I made a bunch of speech and thought bubbles for my comic!!! Recently I have been trying to think up ways to make my creative process less of a slog, and this is definitely one!

I will no longer have to make speech bubbles manually, which I used to do because the default ones are way too smooth and nasty and don't fit my art style at all...

I do have to sacrifice the gaps that I sometimes had in the lineart and genuinely liked, but it's definitely a very minute thing. Especially compared to how GOOD a thing it is that now I can just slap one of these on, fill it in, and move on instead of enabling my carpal tunnel...

These stamps do NOT come with tails because those can be pretty specific, so I will draw them in manually.

If you would like to use these yourself, you're free to do so! Though the brushes in the zip file are ONLY for ClipStudio Paint. They're also pretty niche in artstyle, but if you think that they might be a good fit for you, be my guest!

Credit would be lovely and preferable, but ultimately I don't care too much and won't hunt you down LOL

Daffodile post because he's the main character! ✨ Daffodile Pink is a pretty versatile freak -- being both a reclusive coward, but also a stubborn, outspoken pessimist when given the chance to yap.

Despite being a little beta of the social world, he doesn't just sit there and take bullying most of the time. Whenever he does just sit there, he is concocting comebacks for next time. He doesn't WANT to get on people's bad side, but when he does, he ironically has more things to think about and act on instead of getting lost in his head and bedrotting.

His desired image of himself and his actual self are vastly different people, leading to much internal conflict which doesn't always lead to the greatest of relationships with his equally-as-lost family and peers.

Honey post!

Honey is one of the pretty important characters in "DANDEELION" -- she is an angry snail lady that always make sure to give people a piece of her mind and defends herself no matter what,, sometimes TOO much to the point of assuming the worst out of people's intentions.

DANDEELION has so much beautiful fanart and I love it to death, but it hurts to see it stored away in my drives and discord server when its beauty deserves to be broadcasted to the world.

This illustration represents Daffodile and Dandeelion as they were in the "good old days." The comfort of simpler times is implied by the nostalgic tones of yellow surrounding them in what looks like an endless envelope of safety. In this memory devoid of real-world context nothing at all is wrong or painful. They exist in an eternal state of calm whimsy as Dandeelion takes a mid-day nap and Daffodile sharpens his new spear. If only real life was as warm as our memories are.
