The early morning sun sends down its light, celebrating its victory over darkness. Glistening, its rays warm everything they touch, waking them from their slumber. Nestled in the dew coated grass, a small dandelion stands tall, reaching its head towards the sun. Desperately, it straightens its strong, green stem and stretches ever upwards, hoping for the warm embrace of morning to reach its dewy head. Once the dandelion finally reaches its head above the grass, the sunlight runs to greet it. The small drops of water on its head are filled with light, sending reflections in every colour of the rainbow across its body. Fragile and vulnerable, its seeds stand out in a circle, creating for the dandelion a delicate sphere of cotton-like feather. Its dark green stem lifts it high, holding it up to the sun.
