Poponeko/Dandemew/Beta Skiploom

There sure are a lot of cat Pokemon in beta Gen 2. Koonya, Rinrin and Berurun, the entire Haneko family, Espeon and the round tigers if you count them. It’s a shame they all got cut or redesigned until only Espeon was left in the final. It’s like somebody went “Oops, too many cats, better balance that” and then they overdid it. Anyway, Poponeko is good and cute and looks like the kind of creature you’d find right outside an RPG protagonist’s hometown.

Beta Skiploom AKA Dandemew! I love the yellow vs the lime green final version and the names are so much cuter!
