Chrome Industries threw an amazing event on Nov 17th called The Subfloor Circuit in an old unused building, creating within it, a pristine and one of a kind indoor race track. A few days after, a few were invited for a one night only, tear down, and shred session. These are some of clips that were grabbed while everyone was having so much fun, riding, and watching.
STILL POUR AT THE LUMBERYARD
This is Taylor Dwight. He kills, and is dirty as a kid kicking dirty before a rain storm!
STILL POUR V3
Seattle
We all decided to celebrate having new bike stuff, so we headed to Seattle. On our way we had a session at Centralia skate park, which was sick to say the least. Huge area to ride with gaps, rails, and ramps all from tiny sizes to huge.
We got into Seattle around 4 and immediately had bike problems. Robert bought what he thought was a grime GOAT (turned out to be a painted YO MANG) in Cali a few weeks back and the seller failed to mention the broken chainstays he had crappy held together with some sort of bullshit putty job. Then he cross threaded his axle and could not ride.
HUGE bummer. Watch out for people like that.
We found salvation in a local shop and while they fixed it we had a session HERE:
Nothing as epic as Tyler Johnsons mind blowing line on a freaking Trek T1 but we had some fun. This line absolutely blew my mind when I saw this a few years back.
Kareem Shehab was gracious enough to let all of us dudes crash at his pad for the night (saved us from sleeping in a park haha) and we had a fucking blast! We met up with Nelson Bell and Keo Curry and ran around Seattle throwing shenanigans everywhere we went. It was ludacris how much fun we had that night. We even snuck our baby boy Taylor Dwight into a bar and got him smashed! Sick.
The next day Still Pours luck never failed. We went to warm up on a small ledge down the street from Kareems and Taylor snapped his axle clean off. Kareem was at work, Robert took the bus home, and we had no clue what the hell to do. Nelson came up and called every cyclist in his contacts list to try and help but of course no one had one. Kareem left work early to let Taylor use one of his other Pharaoh set ups and we set off once again.
A snapped chain, popped tire, stolen iPhone, and torn knee parts later with ZERO footage its safe to say we were bummin pretty hard. Although so many things went wrong, so many things went right.
We found out Taylor pulled the first fgfs 540 back in the day and met Keo fucking Curry. This dude during the MASH days was like a fucking idol to most of us. He shredded so hard and I don’t think anyone ever thought we would be lucky enough to meet this guy let alone kick it with him all night bullshitting and reminiscing of the tarck days of freestyle. This was also the first time we all met Kareem who was dope enough to let 5 dudes he doesn’t know a thing about crash in his house. All because we are all apart of somesortofsickfam that rides fixed and gets hesh as fuck. Awesome.
The minute we met Nelson Bell we knew we had just made an awesome contact. This dude is so sick and still shredding on 700′s. Showed us around and kicked it like we’ve known him for years. Watch out for this dude.
STILL POUR V//1
This was the first weekend we all met. Devin hurt his wrist during the 1 day of sunshine that weekend and has been battling that shit ever since. Fuck wrist injuries. You all know what i’m talking about. Also after this first weekend Taylor's bike went to shit. Snapped the rear chainstay's and stripped his cog.
Broke Off
From one thing to the next, not a single person in the fam has a functioning setup.
BUT not to fear… We have all been saving and will have bike checks posted really soon.
We are Still Pour. Still Sore. Still Poor. We are just a few homies in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon.
Our goal is to be able to show people how to have a good time and absolutely shred while doing so. 26″ fixed or nada
