While Ílurey leans more on learning about Sarentu culture, she still wants to learn Trr’ong culture as well. So’lek was more than happy to teach her what he still remembered of his clan’s traditions and one of those traditions was their style of hair and clothes. Ílurey loved learning how to do her hair in the way the Trr’ong did—in the way her father did his own hair, and So’lek loved being the one to teach her and style her hair himself.

Once, Ílurey used a Trr’ong hairstyle on Tamtey as both practice and a surprise for So’lek. Suffice to say that Ílurey had to leave her parents alone for a while lest she sees or hears something she doesn’t want to.

Going back to the Sarentu fanchildren, it’s just a little fact that I’d noticed that there is not a Na’vi word for twins (based on what i read in the dictionary) and it probably has the same concept of the Na’vi not having a word for lying—no one has ever had the experience of giving birth to twins to even make up a word for it.

And maybe that one tiktok artist had the right idea that if a Na’vi would give birth to twins, one would be weaker. It may be due to lack of either nutrients or neural connection with the mother.

Which is why I might make Tengxur the frail twin because he came out of the womb last and didn’t connect with Ri’nela as much. I have plans for all the fanchildren, sad and terrible plans…

I’d like to think that the Sarentu lean more on matriarchal leadership, even when the first Sarentu was a man, because the role of Tsahìk must be a daunting task even before Ri’nela took the mantle.

While I do believe that every clan has its leader and shaman—partly because I’ve already seen Tamtey as the Sarentu olo’eykte/tan, the Sarentu would not fuss over the details of a physical leader and would focus more on the spiritual leader of the clan, even more so if the Tsahìk in focus is a woman. A Sarentu who is deeply connected to Eywa’s network and has felt every grain of Pandora from every clan under their feet.

The clan would want a Na’vi who has traversed every corner of Pandora and visited most if not all of the clans to learn of their songs and stories—their central knowledge in general. Granted the fulfillment of learning all the possible pathways of the People, that Na’vi would no longer need to travel across the land and sea in search for stories and would ultimately choose to stay within the main group of Sarentu who aren’t staying in other clans. And what better way to tie together all this knowledge than to learn the gift of giving life to another? That’s why women in the Sarentu are born leaders, they know the ways of life in more aspects than one!

That Zeswa woman that fell in love with Teylan probably just picked him up by his scruff and said,

“Your Sky People talk and strange objects fascinate me, tell me more about them for the rest of our lives.”

Live laugh love women who love their husbands’ before and after arcs cus she definitely invested in that nerd boy and high-fived with Eywa when Teylan came back with his hair braided.

Tamtey and So’lek have this crazy foreplay of Tamtey joining the Mangkwan out of spite—mostly to infiltrate the clan for information, but details details—and them playing cat and mouse with So’lek until he’s just fed up with them playing their part a little too well. Yeah… my Tamtey joined the Mangkwan for a while just to piss So’lek off…

A lil sumn on my Tamtey is that she’s 34—grown ass woman btw—and still makes really outstanding decisions when it comes to anything involving her position as olo’eykte.

She once set out to find creatures that look like chickens so it could be the Sarentu’s totem animal, it would’ve also been a direct slap to So’lek’s face—unfortunately, Tamtey was never able to find one.

I feel as though a very attractive trait for the Sarentu is the size of their ears and the length of their songcord,

The wider and bigger the ears, the more a Sarentu can listen with patience and understanding, like they can funnel in any sound and remember it with perfect clarity once to be shared at the Moot,

And the Sarentu pride themselves on how many beads are in their songcord; it sings to others the hardships and achievements they’ve experienced to achieve such a long, beautiful, and colorful waytelem, it also tells other Na’vi how many clans that Sarentu has traveled to and lived in.

The old Sarentu has so much potential to be so important to both franchises of Avatar, I get so giddy seeing people create their own stories of the Sarentu…

Lo’ak is the ultimate example of what a wingman should NOT be because the amount of times he inadvertently erased progress between Ílurey and Neteyam could not be counted on a single centipede’s legs…

“Baby bro, are you sure she likes syekalin??? I distinctly remember her saying she was—”

Allergic?

“Trust me, bro! She was looking at a cluster of them while we were tracking around Hell’s Gate! She definitely loves those.”

Unfortunately, being able to look at it was not the same as being able to touch the plant… yet against Neteyam’s better judgement, he listened to Lo’ak’s advice and decided to give Ílurey a nice big syekalin from that very specific spot in Hell’s Gate. He didn’t even think to ask the Sarentu first…

Suffice to say that Ílurey wasn’t as invincible as the Omatikaya thought her to be because she was in Mo’at’s tent for a whole two days due to her rashes and almost suffocating to death, Tamtey forbade Neteyam from seeing her daughter during her recovery, not even to apologize, both he and Lo’ak got an earful from Jake too,
