Dan Close (one of the nicest people i know) and me (one of the worst) started a fun project called KRENG and this is the first track we released!!

Thanks to Sameheads for this opportunity and everyone involved in this release: it is a thing of beauty! The cover by Crosslucid is insane, all tracks (feat. producers Silvia Kastel, Wilted Woman, DJ Sofa, Rodion G.A and Anatolian Weapons), are ace - and even the sound does not seem to have suffered from being pressed into fittingly dolphin-blue vinyl! We could not be more happy about this and hope you enjoy, too!!!

DSB at ACUD

dsb (aka dane//close) lässt sich styleistisch irgendwo zwischen rough-dreckigen Disco-Edits und eklektischem Plattendiggen einordnen. Als Teil der Sameheads Crew stand er schon so ziemlich hinter jedem DJ-Pult der Stadt. Für seinen Abend im ACUD lässt er tief in seine Plattensammlung blicken und fördert so manches schwarzes Juwel zu Tage. Seit kurzem auch als Produzent tätig, bietet sich auch die Gelegenheit einige noch unreleaste Produktionen zu hören. Und die haben es in sich. Möglicherweise werden sogar noch einige Gast-DJs auflegen, die müssen aber leider noch geheim bleiben. ***** dsb's (or dane//close) style ranges from dirty disco edits to eclectic digging sets. As part of the sameheads crew he's spinning records all over town. At ACUD he will take his time to immerse deeply in his vast record collection for a night full of never heard before vinyl - and he will also play some of his unreleased productions. there might be secret guests!
