“A kiss seems very simple, but there is more to it than that. I believe that each place you touch with your lips has its own special meaning.” Nikolai approaches the Dane to show him what he means by this.

“Don’t look into it too much, I just thought you should know some of these things.” He begins by tugging the other closer so that he can reach his forehead, he kisses him there quickly. “Friendship, which should be obvious anyway. We will always be friends, Mads.” After this he kisses the Dane’s eyelid, “This is a symbol of adoration, no matter what I will always adore you, as a brother and a friend if nothing else.”

Nik moves from Den’s eye now to the bridge of his nose, he gives the spot there a peck. “Treasuring, you are important to me and we’ve been though much together; therefore, you will always be treasured.” He then gives his cheek a kiss. “This one is related, it means that you are dear to me, and that I feel kindness toward you.” The next stop is the Dane’s lips, which he drops a quick peck on to. “Remember what I said about not looking into it too much? This is a symbol of love, but not just romantic love; all love.” He gives him a small smile at that and then relaxes as he doesn’t have to lean up to kiss his face anymore. 

Now he moves to Mads’ arm, he kisses the inside of his elbow, “Affection, and adoration. Both of which I feel for you.” Nik then takes his hand and gives the back of it a kiss. “And this one also means love, but more importantly it means respect, something which I always have and always will feel toward you. No matter what happens; that will never change.” He brings his hand up to his lips one last time to kiss his fingertips. “Finally, this is a symbol of admiration. You manage to bounce back from the lowest of lows; stronger than ever. You also have skills in areas I can only dream to have, both of these things are worth admiring, even I can admit that.”
