Brilliant, mindblowing, inspiring! Admiration to the real #Phogut family & these actors who played their roles incredibly! Must agree that Aamir Khan has created his own genre. #Acting is an art and the extent actors can go to be true to their characters has no limit - Dangal cast proved that. Acting #filmmaking dialogues everything were in sync and straight to heart. No bollywood drama overdone. In a movie based on the life of a wrestler, we actually got to see lots of #wrestling. I am no sportsman, but the wrestling scenes didn’t feel like acting. I've noticed people belittling actors filmstars commenting that they don’t do anything special, just entertain us for money. Can't agree at all. Imagine a person spending their entire life to be what they are today, and these actors spend few years at max to portray that person authentically on screen. If you think that's easy, you are naive and don't have respect for artists. And Aamir Khan! With every new movie, he is competing with his former self. Such examples can actually open our mind to possibilities we have in our own excellence. Lastly one thought, I'd want to share. Actually this is a food for thought. What if Phogut got what he wanted? Son? Do you think that could give birth to such inspiring example? Could that make Phogut so much proud? That's the best lesson I took from this movie. I observed this in my life too. Many times. Sometimes we don't get what we want because this universe has better plans for us. We need to let go of our ego to forget about what we wanted and didn’t get. Rather we need to embrace the possibilities we have with what we received instead. We need to trust the flow of life.
