Alright, so this one's a bit of a different story than what I usually put and share here. This is a more erotic story. It's naughty. It has kinks. It will list said kinks in the story before you start reading. Before you start reading the story, for the love of God look at what's included and if none of that is for you, then you're free to leave and find something more suited to your tastes. I hate playing coy and being careful with my words, but I also don't know what sets off the content warning here and I don't wanna get my whole blog suddenly shadow banned or anything like that. Let's just give it a shot. Also it's not on AO3, at the moment, so you'll be taken to an Ellipsus reader page.
Aside from just getting out an idea I had in my brain at random, you can use this to consider the kind of description and writing style I bring if you were to commission me for something more naughty or not. I like to show my work off is all.
Anyways, uh. Hope you enjoy(ed) reading this. Again, I hope this doesn't instantly fuck this blog over, but I think we should be good. Here's hoping.
Baby
There are so many differences already to the new sprites, and I’m wondering if they have any impact on the story/game. A few things I’ve noticed because I’m insane:
New sprite has more eyelashes and they are more prominent and clumped together.
Her hair doesn’t have these sharply cut off ends, which I guess is to make it look more like hair and less like bacon.
It’s also swept over more to one side, and her bangs are a bit more uniform.
The little wispy parts on her left side in her begging sprite are less chunked, more hair-like. Again, less bacon.
In the store her smile is pointed, instead of having curved edges. It almost give there eerie uncanny vibe.
Overall she seems more washed out, almost sickly. I hope it’s to communicate that, and not that everyone in this game is going to be whitewashed again.
Her clothes actually look like they are too small for her; which I love love love! There is less loose fabric on the sleeves, and it’s more clingy. It’s giving, “this is a size too small but I can’t afford a new shirt so I guess this will do” vibe!
The lighting curve on her hair is a U instead of a n.
How do you think Maki's reveal as an assassin would've happened if Kokichi hadn't outed her to the group?
This is a fascinating question. I don't think she makes it through the narrative without it coming out, even if Kokichi wasn't present. Because there’s no way in hell Team Danganronpa isn’t going to use that to cause drama.
So I really think that Monokuma spills the beans on Maki’s true talent. Or it’s possible that Shuichi manages to put it together after some of their workout sessions together. (Because let’s not forget that Kaito has blind faith in Maki even before he knows about her true talent, and he still doesn’t lose that faith once he knows about it. So they’re still gonna be the Workout Trio.) If it’s up to Monokuma, I think the truth about Maki gets dumped on either the “Student Council” in Chapter 3 so that they dislike her more, or it gets dropped by Chapter 4 at the latest (because you can’t let that juicy potential for discord among the group linger without using it for TOO long).
In fact, these two questions got me thinking... what happens if we remove Kokichi from V3 completely?
I mean, obviously that would save Gonta’s life. But does Kokichi do anything in the story that is legitimately indispensable — something that, without him, we would never reach the proper conclusions? In other words: If you just take Kokichi out of V3, will the remaining cast still be able to reach the same general ending?
(SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA V3 BELOW, IF YOU SOMEHOW HAVEN’T GOTTEN AROUND TO IT YET)
1. Chapter 1 would happen pretty much the same way with or without Kokichi. Nothing to address here.
2. In Chapter 2, Kokichi is the one who instigates the Insect Meet-and-Greet. Which initially seems important because it narrows down the supposed suspects. But during the trial, we learn from Maki that Ryoma was still alive after that event was over. Which means the Insect Meet-and-Greet is irrelevant so long as Maki is there to explain that Ryoma was alive afterwards. That removes any impact Kokichi might’ve had on whether the group survives Trial #2... but of course, the end of this chapter is where he’d normally drop the bomb that Maki is actually the Ultimate Assassin. Regardless of whether anybody knows that, however, I think Kaito is still gonna maintain his unwavering faith in her and
3. In the third trial, Kokichi’s most important contribution is stepping through a floorboard and getting bashed up, which makes Shuichi realize that the crosspiece wasn’t just missing from the room where Tenko died; it was missing in all three rooms. That helps during the trial as a way to disprove Kiyo’s assertion that only Himiko — the person who chose the room for the séance — must be the culprit. But honestly? That was just a momentary distraction that I think they could’ve easily seen through without the hard proof of Kokichi’s bloodied head. All the evidence clearly points at Kiyo up until that point because it all surrounds the seance’s setup. Furthermore, believing Kiyo’s argument requires that the cast believe that Himiko is faking her shell-shock and depression after Tenko and Angie died. So... I don’t think this distraction would be enough to prevent the cast from picking Kiyo as the guilty party. Even if a few people fell for Kiyo’s smokescreen, the majority would definitely vote for him.
4. I’ve talked a bit in the past about Chapter 4 and how it could’ve gone without Kokichi’s interference. For starters: I don’t know that Miu would ever be able to pull off a murder, because in the canon, she winds up standing there for quite a while, stammering as she tries to justify it to herself when it’s go-time. She’s just such a nervous wreck that it’s hard to picture her finally taking that aggressive step. But if she actually DID kill someone? I’ve weighed in before on how easy she’d be to see through and how quickly she’d break down over the slightest pressure. Moreover, if Miu DOES try to murder someone in Chapter 4 because she thinks her contribution to the world is so oh-so-valuable, who does she target without the easy-peasy choice of Kokichi? It’s only natural that she chose someone who was both a personal source of irritation and more detrimental than helpful overall. But who is her next-best choice? Although I think Monokuma and/or Shuichi have definitely outed Maki’s true talent by now — and Miu probably doesn’t like or trust Maki at all as a result — I believe that not even Miu is dumb enough to try and kill the Ultimate Assassin. :P So my guess is that it’d be Himiko; Miu has clashed with her on more than one occasion, neither of them see the other as being very helpful...
....but ok, the REAL point here is that we most likely get through Chapter 4 without losing anybody, though there’s a slight change that maybe Himiko is in danger. Probably less than 20% of a chance. Let’s move on then.
5. As you probably would imagine, Chapter 5 is the most troublesome chapter. No Kokichi means that there’s nobody to kidnap Kaito, nobody to get mixed up in a poison/Exisal plot. Which, given that the “create an unsolvable murder” gambit didn’t work out, might not seem l like it’s a big deal. But the big deal is in the electro-tools.
The electrohammers and electrobombs are necessary to get our cast to reach the “reveal” about what they’re located and what the academy supposedly is. If they don’t do that early? It becomes part of their final showdown, and they never reach the truth behind that smokescreen. So the question becomes: if Kokichi isn’t around to ask Miu to invent those devices, will somebody else do it?
....honestly, the fact that ONLY Kokichi thinks to create EMP devices to disrupt the electronics around the school — the Exisals, the cameras, and MOST IMPORTANTLY,. the entire Death Road of Despair — has always bothered me. It’s such a logical course of action that it seems a little bit goofy that nobody else thought of it. The only reason I can imagine that they didn’t is because maybe they didn’t really think Miu’s talent was so great that she was capable of making such devices. And yet... once you get to the point where she’s providing routine work on the inside of a highly complex robot, it sure seems like you’d believe in her capability to do quite a bit beyond what one might normally expect, right? And even if the Death Road of Despair somehow slipped your mind during all the chaos that’s ensued since your last visit there, you’d STILL think that someone would think of the EMP idea as a means to protect themselves from the Exisals and/or Monokuma.
So there it is. That’s the impasse right there, and I do think it’s the ONE impasse that could prevent the cast from reaching the same conclusions without Kokichi that they do with him around. Therefore: Do you believe that Shuichi would’ve thought of getting Miu to work on an EMP device without Kokichi there to think it up for him? Or, heck, maybe even the aggressive, foolish, try-anything-once Kaito (who is a supposed scientist, I’ll remind you... despite all evidence of his derpiness) could suggest it? If someone manages to think up the EMP idea without Kokichi doing it for them, I think we start to progress on a similar track that leads us to a very similar ending regardless of whether Kokchi is ever there. But if no one else can think it up... then that’s why you need him, I guess.
Daiya post, because I think I finally got him figured out!
A loud crashing sound is heard from behind a door before a woman burst through. Her appearance is messy; it seems to be a collage of two styles. One is bold, sparking like the glittery silver lining of her purple blazer, while the other is timid and hides itself away with bandages.
“I’m s-sorry for making you wait! I p-promise I’m done working now. J-just please don’t hate me!”
