I have kinda a confusing question about aftershow, sorry

How many episodes of the show could have happened inside the au before they escaped the circus?

Like, episode 1 is necessary for Pomni to be here,but episodes 7,8 and 9 are kinda the finale package so those have no way to have happened without resulting in the events of the next episode

aftershow only aligns with canon up to episode 6, so anything that happened after that in canon did not happen in Aftershow.

YIBBI FIRST ASK and quite a good one... Uhhhhh dayumnnn where do I start

Warning I'm a hopeless funnybunny enjoyer, which is painfully obvious here

Well I just finished the newest chapter of Sweet Cream Cold Brew by @princesspeepo (Teen and Up, wip), and it's amazing - a very wholesome story, although very different from the show, and the characters ARE SO WELL WRITTEN. Also, a really interesting plot, can't wait to see where it goes!!

Next, I of course have to mention The Aftershow by @munchiemooz (Explicit, wip, ~60k words). I'd call this THE Post-Circus AU, and I adore every word of it. Munchie is an incredibly talented writer. It's everything I imagine life after the circus to be, and again, DAMN THE CHARACTERS ARE GOOD. This one also has a bit of a soft spot in my heart, as it helped me find my place and my people in this vast and varied fandom :).

I don't know how to credit her properly, but also check out chubs-deuce, who, as I understand it, played a great part in writing the characters and the au :) not tagging her cus she's taking a break from tadc!

On the same note, I Hate You The Least, also by @munchiemooz (Explicit, wip, ~50k words) is another beautiful fic, in-circus this time.

(quick note: while both the aftershow and ihytl are explicit and do/will contain smut, I'd say both are still very story focused and a rec even if that's not your cup of tea! :))

Alright next (this is getting long but this fandom is just so damn creative) technically not a fic but the open world au comics by @crow-keys here on Tumblr are quite literally the most perfect (unintentional) continuation of the show I've seen! I literally sat in the theatre in the finale and thought DAMN CROW CALLED IT lmao. Def heals something in me every time I look at them again.

And for all you 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓼, I'll put some stuff under the cut here ;)

Starting off strong here with Sugar On My Tongue by @thenumber1superspecialguy (Explicit, wip, ~50k words) which I can only describe as a fever dream of a concept BUT IT WORKS SO WELL. Definitely not for everyone, but if you like the start you're REALLY gonna like it.

I've been told this guys other fics are also incredible, but I haven't gotten around to them yet :)

Alright last one and one I haven't fully finished reading, but it's been really fun so far: One Bad Thing by casualAbstraction (Explicit, wip, ~130k words). "That one road trip fic", and a really fun one with the entire gang. So far I haven't actually encountered much of the nsfw-ness, but if the tags are anything to go by it'll get there. Really fun read so far tho!!

Sorry this is about The Aftershow, but did Christine’s license plate mean anything in part 5 of the comic? I was trying to decipher it myself, but I could only come up with MCD meaning Munchie and ChubsDeuce.

It actually stands for Munchie Chubs Dairi (Dairi is a close friend who helped me with the thumbnail sketches a ton so I wanted to throw a bit of appreciation in there for her, but it does unfortunately read as just the second half of my username oops) and then the number is the date The Aftershow was first posted on Ao3!

hey! just wondering- for chapter 17 is it all smut or is there other stuff that happens before and after that is important to know? cause i dont like smut at all but if the chapter has like plot as well i should read around it so i understand future chapters.

Hello! I was wondering if you'll still be continuing the after show AU? I know that you're busy with PHM stuff rn and I totally get it, I'm just curious about what your plans are for it. Have a great day and drinks lots of water! 🫰😊

My plans are that I'm burned out as fuck on TADC as a whole so I need to stop feeling burned out on it before I can even think of continuing with the Aftershow stuff so until then it's on hiatus and I'm trying to keep my creative drive fed with other topics in the meantime 🤷

It's not canceled, not completed, not abandoned, just on hiatus. If I tried to prematurely force myself to make more art and such for it I would go from feeling exhaustion to feeling hatred and that's the last thing I want 😅 I'm just not made for the one trick pony life, if I only did one thing forever and ever my love for creating would shrivel and die and my soul would be replaced with void - it's why I'm a multifandom artist

So like. When I continue on it is wildly dependent on vibes lol
