Mikey shows that he cares about someone by spending time with them, getting interested in their hobbies and doing things they like with them even if he doesn’t enjoy them much. If he doesn’t like someone he kind of just pretends they are not there

Dee is too polite to do that, if he doesn’t like someone he just gets along with them and makes faces, but to people he does like, he is very talkative and loves physical touch, he’s a big hugger and sometimes comes off as a bit obnoxious

For Gabi he is similar to Mikey in that sense, he plain ignores everyone but will double ignore you if he doesn’t like you, and to show care he is more of a “here, I’ll show you this very specific thing I like and I am into even if you don’t care” bc you know, he shares and does not gatekeep things that are important to him and you should be flattered bc he trusts you enough to do so and not feel anxious you’ll ruin it for him

Mikey likes cats but owned his first cat at like 30 years old,,,

I honestly don’t think Dee has a favorite animal, loves them all, but I have the feeling like he tends to lean more to the big ones, yk, horses, elephants, rhinos, o la nena LAKDK
