The sales photos are pretty bad, but look up owner pics on Flickr to see them in a much better light.

Gonna check on Flickr, that is good idea. Since there are so many recommendations for this, I will check them!

Have you looked into Licht? I have two of their...
I remember Litch! Went to check them and they have some awesome styles! That wig of 35cm long caught my eye instantly!Luts has many styles now with their MDF line, so it is good to hear they are good quality!
The last picture you reblogged was of a person. ;3 they were just imitating a specific art style of someone's dolls.
Awesome. Thank you. Well, they did a very good job then.
we were sneaking some of my friend's parents' booze last night bc they were out of town and we wanted to get drunk y'know as you do and later on in the night we were just doing shots bc why not and we go to do shots of the cheap shitty vodka they had bc we knew they'd notice if some of their grey goose was missing and uh turns out the clear liquid in the cheap shitty vodka bottle was not vodka
it was white vinegar
it finally happened.
boyfriend wants to watch supernatural with me.

HI MY NAME'S ELLEN AND EXCITING THINGS ARE IN THE WORKS FRIENDS
Okay so I'm a total failure at updating y'all about my life on here I just blabber constantly on twitter about everything so I'm sORRY about that though some of you are probably grateful. ANYWAYS YES. Big things are happening in my life that I am very very very very VERY excited about (yes five verys were necessary get off my case ese). They're in the future a bit (as in like about a year from now) but I've finally gotten the balls to say sayonara to the school I'm currently attending and I'm gonna move to Austin, TX to pursue what I really want to do: film.
To get down to the nuts and bolts of it, what brought this all on for the most part is that I'm really unhappy where I'm at with life right now. I don't feel excited about my major, and I have no career plans stemming from it. For a long time I've been telling myself that I'll finish out my degree here and then go to graduate school or something for film, but I really don't feel like that's a good plan. I'm not excited about a majority of my major-related classes, and nothing about working in theatre really thrills me the way it used to. On top of all of that, my relationship with my mother continues to deteriorate, to the point that she's told me she's no longer going to help me pay for school after this year as a way of "teaching me a lesson" (first world problems am I right). I almost transferred to UT over the summer because of how bad it got between my mom and I, but the price really put me off, and I was too scared to move half way across the country by myself to establish residency in Texas.
CUE BAILEY ANGEL FROM MY DREAMS. What started off as kind of a joking conversation about moving to Texas to harass the folks at Roosterteeth into giving us a job turned into us making REAL LIFE PLANS to move to Austin together and be roommates next fall and forever. Now, I'm not dropping out /today/ okay I'm gonna finish out the school year because well my parents have already paid through the end of the year so I might as well not waste their money y'know. The plan for right now is to go down to Austin for RTX this coming summer and while we're there we're gonna look at apartments and visit the UT campus (as that's where I'm hoping to go). If that all goes well, we'll hopefully be able to move down to Austin by the fall of 2014 and work for a year to establish residency and then I'll attend UT as a film major (if I get accepted y'know). Under most circumstances, I would just straight-up transfer to UT, but seeing as their out-of-state tuition is almost double of what in-state tuition is, I think I'd be saving myself money in the long run, especially since I can easily see myself living in Austin for a while.
I can't even begin to explain to you guys how uplifting this whole process has been. I feel happier than I have in a long time, and I actually am genuinely excited about my future for the first time in a long time. I mean for Pete's sake the writer's block I've had for /years/ is starting to go away! I feel so confident in myself now that I have a real life plan for getting out of this rut I've been living in and I can't wait to get started.
Anyways I love you all so much and I just wanted to fill you in on this very big change in my life okay hugs and kisses, bye!
15 and 16 c:
15. What’s the most important part of a head sculpt for you?
FFFFFFF, probably how it looks from different angles (especially the profile). Like, there are a few dolls from Doll Leaves that look hella nice from the front, but then I see their profiles and ALL THE ONES I LIKE GOT A BAD CASE OF FLAT FACE.
like, there are some dolls i've seen with the flat profile that i've liked, but the doll leaves ones just look really off to me. ; A ; (but whatever all the ones i like are 1/3 scale anyway so...)
but umm...also noses are a big thing to me. really love to see some more variety in those, especially for sculpts that can pass as girls, since that's my bread and butter. xD
also, i feel like i'll forever be on a quest to find msd sized dolls with actual pronounced cheekbones and super cool jawlines and shit and just generally kinda stern/strong, square-ish face shapes and shit. i've seen a few, but OH HEY THEY'RE ALL SD AND BIGGER. fffffffffff
(or they have fashion doll proportions which don't fit into my crew)
16. What is most important for a doll body for you?
OMG I'M SO PICKY ABOUT BODIES NOW-A-DAYS!
Sculpt and joint aesthetics are very important to me when looking at bodies. I really love when the sculpt is a bit more detailed (I'm a nut for hipbones, collarbones and muscle tone in arms/legs), annnnd I also like when the joints look good, especially when you actually utilize them.
For instance, I really love those Doll Chateau bodies with the partially jointed hands/toes and shit because the jointing in the body just looks really pretty. * A * I'm not really sure how to explain it. xD; Ah, though I really dislike their elbows and knees since they're those dumb boxy joints with the "elbow" added in that just makes it more awkward. If everyone did elbows like Fairyland, I'd probably explode from happiness.
It's also important to me that a doll body can stand without support as well as sit without support (or modding). Nothing gets on my nerves quicker than a doll that cannot sit unless I prop it against something.
Oh, and waist joints. I really dislike underbust and hip joints. If I can avoid them, I usually will try to. KEEP THE JOINT AT THE WAIST, PLEASE AND THANK YOU, DOLL COMPANIES.
