Eight’s discovery
“What are we all doing out here?” Thirteen asked while adjusting the goggles on her forehead.
“We’re here because Ozzie requested you dip,” Ten responded as he took out his earphones.
“I meant Why are all thirteen of us here at a grave site,” Thirteen continued.
“Ozzie has already told you why,” One answered, “With what happened to Janus, he is very worried about our site’s past affiliation to the Insurgency.”
Eight knew what the others were talking about, they were sketching out a new room plan for Dr. Construction when Ozzie burst in and begged them to visit a grave. Eight asked four (who prefers to go by Lycan) why there was a need for an urgent visit to the Ad Infinum Mortuum Graveyard. After he had read Eight’s words, he explained it all: Dr. Uzk’s affiliation, his treachery, and his death at the hands of the sapients.
They all soon approached the area that Ozzie said contained the grave. They all stepped forward in unison and all gazed at the site. Eight couldn’t stop their hands from slowly rising up and cupping in front of her mouth. Eight couldn’t stop their tears from coming down. Dr. Uzk’s grave was wide open. The body was missing. Nothing was left.
The council exchange glances with each other as they all share the same conclusion: Site-515 was about to be in peril again.
