Darkness surrounded her - and then a swirling burst of light flashed behind Hayley's eyes. One minute she was with the wolves - and next there was nothingness. But just a few moments later it was as if every memory, every feeling - everything came rushing back into her body. Blinding heat - pain - flesh reconstructing and then her body collided with a hard surface - at least that was what it felt like.
Her skin was sweatslicked and it took a moment for her eyes to flutter open. Hayley blinked several times, confusion filling her gaze as she glanced around - body sore.
Hayley's brows drew together as she attempted to push herself up onto her hands. "What the hell?" She murmured voice hoarse. "Where am I?"
