Schools are always portrayed as a place where gossip is a part of daily life: on TV, in books - you name it, it's probably a stereotype. It's also safe to say that this interpretation is highly accurate, and Tancho Academy was no exception to this. With such a wide array of personalities and lively characters it'd be stupid to assume that no gossip occurred in the hallways. Or really, anywhere. Students, teachers and other faculty staff: they all got involved in the rumour mill.
For Gian, being able to tell the difference between a true and false rumour was easy. When he worked his rackets on the street, back with CR:5, rumours were always an important source of information. If a member of the gang was thinking of becoming a turncoat, if an opposing gang was making a move on his territory, if someone was disrupting business. All of these things were important tip offs, and without them Gian wouldn't nearly have achieved the level of success he had on the streets of Daivan.
Most of the stuff he heard was just idle speculation at Tancho, they were schoolkids after all and making dumb rumours passed the time and made the days more fun. There was one particular piece of information which he heard numerous times and became curious about. There was a teacher employed at Tancho who was absolutely beautiful, perfect - like a goddess. She worked as a Foods teacher, but that's all he knew of her. He got one of the kids he counseled who was in her class to pass on a message saying he wanted to meet her.
Man, if she's as hot as they're making her out to be I'm in luck. It's been a while since I've had a good lay.
Gian smirked to himself. To her, this was just him wanting to meet to get to know each other. Gian still didn't know a lot of the staff on intimate terms, and that was to be expected from someone who was new to the Academy, but reaching out to her like this gave off the facade to her that he just wanted to get more friendly with his co-workers. No lady resisted the charms of the Lucky Dog, it was his natural born fortune and great looks which made him such a success with women. This case shouldn't be anything different: two people, getting to know each other. And their bodies.
Reaching into his desk drawer, he pulled out a handheld mirror and began tidying up his hair. Usually Gian wouldn't give a shit about his appearance, but if he was meeting someone who was supposed to be this gorgeous he wanted to make sure he looked just as stunning for her. After all, shouldn't a guy look presentable? Hearing a firm knock on his office door, he scurried to put the mirror back under his desk. "Open!" His comapany was here.
The door creaked open, and between the crack Gian could see a face peer though it. He could only see her facial features, but he definitely liked what he saw. A big grin grew on his face.
"Hey, I've been expecting ya! Don't be shy and come on through"
watch as she casually strolls over to the dorm which he stays, slaps a piece of paper onto the door, and walks away. the paper reads as follows: you have received a r[yner], the lowest grade upon my scale of teaching. for such, i ask that you restart your kindergarten through senior year so that you may have a tenth of a percent increase in chance that you may succeed in life. the reason being that the dango god has informed me you did not devour at least two boxes of dango today. - fer
[Oh. Well, it'd be wrong if he say he wasn't expecting Ferris to make a move sooner or later - and that was something that seemed 'a thing that she'd do'. This paper was obviously not for him (especially when Sion shared a room with Ryner - almost every attempt to demean and upset was automatically directed at his friend who was probably sleeping in his room right now instead of teaching.
The King just let a heavy sigh escape his lips.]
- "Ah."
[And with this, he just grabbed the paper from the door, opening it slowly. Well, even if he made loud sounds, it wouldn't wake Ryner up.
This is why he dropped one of the books he brought from the library in his face, without thinking twice.]
- "This is for you."
[He just gave Ryner a small smile, as if what he just did wouldn't break his nose or something like that, letting the paper fall down on his lap.]
