I organized a POC phandom meet up a few months back and like, I never really received any hate messages before, but I had TONS of asks calling me a racist and how not including white ppl was a form of bullying like?? Tf? I realize the ohandom gets silent as fuck whenever racism is an issue (eg Dans Indian accent) and it pisses me off sometimes
yikes wow yeah dan’s indian accent thing was racist, but he apologized so i don’t wanna bring up the past as he’s obviously sorry and apologized, but wow that’s why i was so scared of making this network in the first place white people can be scary as fuck wow like i think this blog got a few asks saying “this is racist to white people” and things like “wow i feel like i’m not special becase i’m white” (i usually delete those anons because wow um no i don’t want to deal with this) but wow i’m sorry you had to go through that !!
ignorant people are everywhere and there are two ways to deal with it: A) figh them and start arguments or B) delete the ask and just wait for the anon to go away. like most of the time these racist ass people are probably waiting for their ask to be answered lol
