Hahaha! Well I'm not an English or Language teacher but I have friends who teach English. According to them, the first rule is "Do not name call or even raise your tone. Improve your argument by presenting sources and more data." Looking at the post about protocol on Kate's clothing, I am surprised that most od the responses do not stick to the real argument.

that is a golden rule of debating or just having a discussion in general. 

If you reduce to personal attacks then you are invalidating your argument.

They should create some custom of saluting, like in the army, but modified. Not anything like “Sieg heil” or some similar abomination, of course. Doctors could salute each other, too. That might be funny and remove the tension among the patients

I’ve read this repeatedly for about 4 or 5 times. Well, can you blame me? I can’t get over how cute this is.

These are the moments that keep us going, standing out in our busy days/nights amongst the pain-med-seekers, the smoking asthmatics, the drunk drivers, and the scores of other patients who actually "deserve" to be in the emergency room -- the innocents who can be reassured by a little extra empathy, attention, and a smile.
