She is very knowledgeable about neighborhoods and NYC in general which was very helpful. And I ended up giving her deposit checks because we where interested in one of the apts she showed me. When I called back to tell her we had changed our minds she sent me a video via text of her shredding our checks which really impressed me. She seems very honest, she is timely and reliable with communication (ie. texts and emails) and really cares about finding her clients the best place them. "I wanted to move into a lower east side apartment on a relatively short basis in mid-May, apparently a difficult time to find apartments. I spoke with agents from the major agencies, but they were either extremely pushy, incompetent and slow in replying, or shady in some other way. I was extremely lucky to have found Yesim at Misrahi Realty Corp. thereafter. She was totally responsive whenever I had a question, met up with me the very day I called her, and right away showed me three apartments all of which I liked. I never had the feeling that I was being even nudged into anything. When I wanted to see one of the apartments again the next day, Yesim was immediately available and showed it to me again. I really can't say how much I value the experience with Yesim and Misrahi generally, especially after having heard horror stories with respect to brokers. I asked for the walls of the apartment to be repainted a different color, and Yesim made sure that they were white in time for me to move in. Plus, it was possible to move in on the precise day which I had hoped for. The apartment into which I moved is completely rennovated, everything works, and it was clean when I got here. IYesim even stopped by the office after-hours for me to pick up the keys, as I arrived late in the city the day of my move-in. Overall: Awesome! Thanks a lot" -Alexander
"Can't recommend them enough! After a long and frustrating search on craiglist, which proved to be a complete waste of time, I was referred to agent Yesim Ak at Misrahi...such a lifesaver. I explained the situation (after a bad breakup, i had to find a new place, fast) and Yesim took care of the rest. She listened to my needs and helped me find an inexpensive apartment in a quiet building--so rare! I found her to be completely honest and above board, and really on the ball, plus she drove me around in her adorable white vespa.
