Ozrian, like the Hexbird and Arcanthum, is very special to me. These three were the player characters of a dear deceased friend. Between the three games, I have the most memories of goofing off in our evil campaign, where my friend played Ozrian.
One time, my warlock fell from a giant wooden statue. Ozrian caught him. Later when Ozrian fell in a similar way, my warlock weighed up his options and then let him hit the ground first before healing him. It was just a fun small silly ttrpg moment among many others, and it forever hurts that I won't be able to make more silly memories with my friend. But it makes me very happy to be able to keep a little part of him alive through this book, with the permission of his fiancée. I hope these characters will go on to be useful allies and intimidating antagonists in many adventures.
