is that it’s not an officially released album, it’s one of the many albums danny put out in high school / DSV era before he was signed with paradise records. back then, he wasn’t worried about privacy at allllll. he shared anything and everything with people if they asked. having kids changed everything for him and turned him into an extremely private person. unfortunately, this also hurt his chances of reclaiming his fame, because without a spectacle, you’re just... not that interesting :/

oh and!! the reason it’s called “ruining my life” is not referring to caroline at all, it’s referring to how danny’s parents thought he was “ruining his life” by being a musician rather than going to college :P
