Following the presentation students were provided information on a special Exoplanet Design Contest inspired by the work of #DanielArsham and the Studio at #NASAJetPropulsionLaboratory The following week, students participated in an after-school workshop to help develop their design projects and to learn about specific techniques to integrate scientific data into their artwork. • Judges for the “Time and Space” Exoplanet Design Contest included officials from #BrandedArts #DrMayaAngelouCommunityHighSchool #NASAJPL and #DanielArshamStudio • The 3 contest winners were invited on-stage to receive special NASA and Daniel Arsham prizes and deliver brief presentations on their exoplanet designs for an audience of over 300 fellow students, family members and friends.
