-A site-specific installation, open archive, mobile recording studio, documentation site, curriculum and inter-generational conversation extending through several artistic formats and cultural practices. Including oral and written works, music, dance, visual and performed. ‘Take Me To Rio’ exhibition will involve work with physical sites, as well as individual and community narratives.

‘Take me to Rio’ will showcase artists who, in different ways, have explored our chosen theme for the year - Faith - through their individual practice and distinct projects. We are working alongside invited educators, elders, storytellers, young academics and artists. Engaging more with predominantly Somali youths, to create dialogues. We aim to collect more visual documents and recordings, as well as objects from artists, workshop participants and the public to continue the conversation into a permanent archive and space. 

Numbi - nurturing local and global conversations through creating platforms to celebrate diverse voices producing workshops, events and SCARF literary arts magazine.
