Blue eyes peeked through the mask, scanned a crowd that she was both familiar but also unfamiliar with. Events like these weren’t new to her, but the people always were --- they were strangers, pretending to know her just because she had made a name for herself. Of course not as big as her sister Lola and her brother Caius, but her name was out there for the world to know. Some of them knowing her better than others. One of them being Danielle, who she spotted at the bar with luck. A redhead she hadn’t talked to in what felt like forever, mainly because of her own sake. After the divorce had went through, she had chosen to lay low, even to friends. Except her best one, who she had brought to the masquerade after all. Making her way over, her perfectly manicured hand reached out to the redhead, the hint of a amusing smile showing on her features. ‘’Danielle, it’s been a while..’’ she started off, not sure if the other would recognize her immediately which caused her lean it a bit more and whisper, ‘’it’s Evelyn,’’ this causing the smile to turn into a subtle smirk. ‘’Would you like to dance?’’
