the babies are coming! After 5 days of waiting to catch a birth to film we finally caught one and it couldn't of gone better.

Its that time of year!! I was asked by a fantastic Farmer named Ann from Crystal Brook Farm to help out with a film project about how to raise goats. This was from the first shoot and many more to come, with goat birthing to cheese making. cant wait!! For now check out these little things! Walker loves coming to work with me.. Especially when he gets viscously attacked by cute things.

woah! what a fantastic weekend of filming! My actress Mary Catherine, an outstanding ball of light busting out of Emerson this year, blew my mind with her skills behind the mask and with out. it was such an honor to work and watch her take a character that had been lingering in my head and bring her to life.
this film wont be out for a bit, but it shouldn't take forever.
We did a little photo shoot with my finished mask today that I made for the potato chip film series. i felted the dreads and everything. it was a really awesome experience making it and I cant wait to see the character come to life. Filming starts this weekend! woo!

This camp knocks my socks off each summer. We start with a one worded theme then create an original musical and a BADASS film with yours truly. thats right.. you heard me.. they write the script, songs, dance and make props and costumes all with in two weeks. each time.. its some kind of miracle!
this is my 4th year with the camp, the staff blow my mind of how each are so talented in so many different ways. I am so thankful to be given an opportunity to come to this place with an idea and have everyone come together to help me out to make it happen. this years theme was "Electric".. after last summers theme "Magic" (which is totally my jam on a regular basis) I made a magical woodland area.. so I felt the need to step it up this year..
we are only half was through our two weeks and today is the last night of shooting, then the kids are working their little tooshies off making the show happen for when the parents come. Amazing kids this year!! and everyone who helped me getting those lights on the kids, and teaching them the dance, and saving my butt with lighting and camera problems. .. thats electric. thank you!
