I like to pretend the b/w photo is from 1807 - just squint to ignore some modern details 😅 Some person is about to either go and cause mischief around the village - or to hand out the yule presents - or both?

(This is me - 160cm / 5’2″ - wearing the yule goat mask and my own clothes - not the costume clothes.)

Okay, I couldn't NOT do a second round of fox masks after the first one was received so well. This time, branching out from Silent Hill f's canon desion with some that are a bit bloodier in keeping with Fox Mask's final confrontation.

Grinns sits atop your building, and he makes faces; to protect you, of course. His faces are so ghastly and grotesque that anything evil that wants to harm you runs away in fear. He doesn’t even have to use his shiny sharp teeth. He doesn’t even need to lift a solid stony claw. Grinns has a natural talent for the art of pulling faces, because Grinns is naturally very ugly.

Grinns has been forgotten by those who made him. The building he sits atop has undergone repaints and renovations, but, stalwart protector he is, he’s never left his post, not even for a second. “Someday I might retire,” he says to a passing pigeon. But who of his old charges survives to relieve him of his duties? So he will remain. Ever present, ever waiting; frightening demons until rain erodes his spiky horns, moss fills his sneering mouth, and all the assassins of time crumble his silent heart.

Depends on what you're makin'! I have many tips for masks and the like ^^

Masks !

if you're in the monetary position i HIGHLY reccomend using the stereotypical cat mask bases. i know its sort of eehhhhh to some people but trust me it makes your life one thousand million times easier

for snouts, unless you want them to be waterproof, im tellin u you gotta use heavy cardboard. the really thick kind that's strong. It holds really good. foam bends and squishes so its durable but on such a small scale as a mask it can fuck up your hot glue . speaking from experience

if you use the cat mask bases getting an x-acto knife set is a game changer (if you're in the mental state to work with a blade of course! be safe! <3) editing the eyes / ears / snout or whatever else is actually heavenly with an x-acto. no more crumpling the paper base with scissors !!!

if you want big ole ears on any creature (even frilled dragon ears like on my own kintype mask) i'm gonna say that foam is actually a good choice this time. it folds and bends and if you're walkin around and it bumps something it'll just bend back and won't take the whole mask with it like cardboard does (speaking from experience LMAO)

if you do quadrobics with your masks, that top head strap is so so important. make it tight but not tight enough to give you a headache or hurt. (my world enders mask was farrrrr too tight on me and hurt sooo bad i speak from experience here too)
