RUN DOWN ON WHAT WAITRESS IS.

Okay so in case any of my readers of Bad Idea don’t know, here it is.

Waitress: the Musical is based on the movie of the same name. Jenna, an expert pie baker, works as a waitress and makes pies at a diner with her two friends (also waitresses) Becky and Dawn. Jenna is married to an abusive man, Earl, and becomes pregnant after he gets her drunk and they do the diddily. Jenna’s doctor, Dr. Jim Pomatter, and her begin an affair (even though he’s married too). Dawn starts going on dating sites and meets Ogie. Becky begins dating the cook from the diner. Jenna stashes away money from her work to go to a pie making contest in a neighbouring city and leave Earl once she wins the prize money, but he finds her stash and she can’t run away. Once her daughter, Lulu, is born, she leaves Earl since she doesn’t want him hurting her daughter either. Jenna doesn’t end up with Dr. Pomatter, since he’s still happily married, but gets handed the pie shop when the owner passes away and she renames it to Lulu’s Diner.

SERIOUSLY listen to the soundtrack, it’s very good.

Also since I haven’t stated it before, the roles go as follows:

Jenna - Natasha

Dr. Pomatter - Steve/Bucky

Ogie - Peter

Y/N starts in ensemble and I won’t spoil the rest. Idc about the other main characters for now tho.
