upcoming life events which i'm super excited about and which will all take place over the next ten days:

getting to snuggle my niece tmrw

starting the new season of downton abbey, im about to watch the first episode....

training for my new job. i mean im not Excited about this per se but i am eager to get it done

interactivism this tuesday!!!!!! itll be my first time performing onstage for anything other than choir in over a year

and then.. a week from monday..... im picking up the gf from the airport..........

oh yeah, super cute fun story time

so my pal daniellesbutt and I were studying for our Japanese test in a study room in Danielle's dorm earlier this evening and as I was translating one of the sentences on the board I noticed a girl watching me write from outside the room

so after a few seconds she popped her head in and asked if we were studying Japanese and we were like "yeah, you can come in if you'd like" and as it turns out she's a transfer student from Chiba prefecture and she helped us study for a little while and we talked about Japan and Atlanta and trains and ramen and we all decided to cook cool Japanese food later this semester

it was a grand ol' time and I'm looking forward to hanging out with her again
