I've had a weird history with this movie, particularly it was the only #donbluthfilm no one else I knew watched and I never had the chance to thoroughly watch... That wasn't until 2011 where I found it available on Hulu one day. It's among one of the weird ones, but one with good merit and ambition behind it; which for me is something I find quite a bit in most of #donbluth's movies, which is why he's one of my favorite animation directors. I don't have a lot to add to this, I guess just the fact that when looking up references to draw this I only then learned she was suppose to be a #pheasant- which are actually are one of my favorite birds. I don't often see them in animation outside of Bambi or Animals of Farthing Wood, where they're shot and killed...
