fern: so...where is everyone??

claire: all of the “oldies” as we call them go out for brunch together before the convention starts so we get the place to ourselves for about and hour or two

fern: well not all by ourselves, there’s some guy over there

claire: omg *starts running*

claire: you’ve really fancied this place up since last year, we actually have a resting place *laughs*

danny: yeah, and i worked really hard on this area too! there’s a a fucking kitchen in here. but at least we know that it’s basically all ours since the profesers think i made this place for one stupid reason

claire: *laughs* yeah, they must think kitchens and public places is the new hip thing

fern: i’m so confused right now. who are you, how do we know you, why is this place all ours????

claire: it’s been way too long

danny: yeah, we really have to get together after this and catch up, are you in town long after this?

claire: yeah we’re in town for like 3 days after this

danny: we’re?

[ojuulius]

claire: oh yeah, danny here is my best friend! *under her breath* except for you of course. we’ve known each other since we were kids and he’s like a brother to me, which makes the professors thing worse.

danny: yep. we call the old guys here that have with always been professors or just lost their glory days of exploring and became one the professors . ever since the first expo when claire was here they all started a rumor and think that we’re fuck buddies. since we were so close really fast for no apparent reason, and i’m a guy and she’s a girl

claire: of course they don’t know that 1, i’m a huge lesbian. 2, danny had had a boyfriend for like 5 years now and they’re gonna get married and have kidsand live a wondeful happy life together. and now we have a 3 *smiles* i have a girlfriend. we just don’t have the heart to tell them no, since it’s kinda funny. 

danny: we were one sitting on a bench together sharing some ice cream with different spoons and they yelled at us to get a room. i just. don’t get it

fern: omg these poor men

claire: well thank you for picking out this one for the internship danny, you made a great choice. such a great one that fern is actually-

fern: *whispering* what are you doing he’s your boss. you guys seem close but still, he’s your boss

claire: *whispering* it’s okay he’s cool

fern: *whispering* but what if he isn’t???

claire: *whispering* trust me, i got this. *stops whispering* but as i was saying before i was so rudely interrupted, is that fern here is actually my girlfriend!
