Another sample that I previously uploaded to deviantART! This time, I wanted to show off my inking skills and do something with more refined outlines, and my test subject for that was Danny Paint's character.
I'm sure you all know the drill by now; I've already given my reasons on dA (I wasn't good to him on Skype, and this is partly a means of apologizing, though I realize I'll need to do more to really make up for it), so I'll spare you all of those details. Admittedly, I kind of played it safe with this one with the simple pose, as I don't actually have any experience with drawing feline characters (this is the first), but I think it didn't come out too bad. Personally, I'm rather proud of how I was able to implement the characters emblem and how I managed to get it to function as a border for the character's name. I felt so clever when I did that.
When I open commissions, inked works will most likely have black outlines. I just went with a colored outline here because the character seems to have a strong association with the color green (I know what that's like; my Melee has a strong association with purple).
Danny here is total property of... um, Danny Paint, of course. Don't know if he has any accounts beyond dA, though. Nothing that I know of, anyway.
