"Danny?" Aiden squinted his eyes, feigning an inability to recognize the boy in front of him. "Is that you, or is it your evil twin?"

"Danny?" Aiden squinted his eyes, feigning an inability to recognize the boy in front of him. "Is that you, or is it your evil twin?"
Luna looked at Danny shrugging her shoulders as she continued to twist her hair. Her gaze had fallen to the ground then chewed her bottom lip as she thought. She was good friends with Isaac for a while now, but he was different. She wasn’t sure if she was considered his friend. Then, Allison came along. The two, Allison and Isaac, would flirt all the time.
Major turn off.
"No. Can’t really do anything since you know he likes Allison, and what not."
"Yeah… I know how that goes." He sighed. After all, Matt wanted Allison too. Of course, Matt turned out to be a homicidal murdering psychopath, so he was really kind of grateful for that, but… he felt bad for his sister. "Maybe they won’t work out?" He offered. "I mean, it’s high school, not the rest of your life."
In ten years time, who knows? Maybe he won’t even know Ethan at all.
Luna wrapped her thin arms around Danny hugging him tightly. Her nose pressed into his shoulder exhaling slowly. "Maybe. I just don't get why Isaac would even consider dating her since she's his best friend's ex. Isn't that breaking guy code? I know for girl code it kinda is." She rested her chin on his shoulder, she wasn't that much shorter than him, and pouted.
"Why are we the nicest people, and still have a hard time? Mom and dad split. You and your ex, and now maybe Ethan. Then, me and any other guy."
[black eye] Danny doesn't pressure her. As much as he would love to return the favour to whoever gave her it in the first place, his main concern in his sister, and so he handles it calmly and clinically, making sure that at least the school nurse has checked to make sure she's okay before taking her home, making her her favourite hot beverage, and putting on her favourite dance movie in a bid to comfort her.
Over and over Luna told Danny that she was fine but of course she knew he was lying. She just didn't want to explain what happened. She was trying to break up a fight at school, and well, one of them punched her in the face causing the black eye.
She sat down at home relaxing with her cup of tea watching the movie that Danny put on. "I'll tell you what happened after my tea."
