I do like all members of McFly but Danny Jones has always been my personal favourite member of McFly since Popstar to Operastar even if he didn't win, he has won my heart which has helped me to fully realize my sexuality and I am really happy that he has recently won I'm a Celebrity.
I was going through my lowest point in life but watching Danny on I'm a Celebrity has helped to keep me occupied, enjoying it throughout as he is shown to be very good at his trials, getting a lot of stars while watching his funny moments (such as when a snake has got into his pants during his first trial), getting along with others (including Barry who served as his Father-like figure) and opening up to his camp mates with his wisdom and emotional side (including the time when he went through anxiety - I wanted to give him a hug as it's something that I've been through too). Him getting out of his comfort zone even if his mind said otherwise will no doubt makes him a good role model to his son Cooper and others.
All of this has earns him his title as King of the Jungle (and yes, I've been voting for him). What makes it even more awesome that it comes after his two other wins on other reality TV Shows this year; The Masked Singer as the Piranha (been listening to his It's All Coming Back To Me cover a lot) and The Voice alongside Tom Fletcher (enjoying their humour and again was inspired by them) and their contestant Ava (also giving them a win).
McFly sure has an excellent track record when it comes to reality TV shows (but Busted too - maybe James Bourne could take part in something and win someday) yet this really shows Danny Jones at his awesomeness after coming from a long way of being the underdog.
This gives me something to smile about this year after having it rough with my mentality and my anxiety has confirmed the worst of my fears. I am still navigating my recovery journey and figuring things out as I am taking a couple step back in some areas including social media (even on here where I don't post very often) but for now, I have the strength to move forward (also with Busted Vs McFly to look forward to next year) while having friends and family taking care of me for which I am grateful for.
For that, I thank you Danny Jones with all my love. I hope this will give you more recognition that you deserved as you continue to grow and inspire others, helping to make other's day worthwhile.
