A Taste for You: one draft of chapter 9 is done. I'm jamming to my playlist. It's gonna need a lot of work in the edits, but I'm pretty proud of myself right now.

Hopes of the Heart: the next 2 chapters are written, plus one half-written chapter. I plan to start editing chapter 4 soonish.

smile with sweet surprise: no progress, but many thoughts. I've had the ending in mind from the start but for whatever reason, starting the chapter has been a pain in my backside. I think once I get through the opening, the rest will come easy peasy.

Wasted for Love: next chapter is partially written, and honestly I have no idea if I'll need to scrap it and start it over or not. This fic is my # 1 love atm, but that also means I'm going to drag it out and take forever because I'm fretting over it the most.

Six Sentence Saturday

I've been in such a creative slump, but I have gotten some words down for a Contempt-verse ficlet I hope to have finished this month! It's called Spellbound.

So this is how his mother felt about his father. What an arrogant, awful man. So this is how his father felt about his mother. How brilliant, how beautiful, his love is. The world would think him mad to see Severus’ beauty, but Harry knows it’s there. It’s clear as day, Severus bathed as he is in moonlight and shadows. Now that sleep softens his face. Now that his eyes are closed and Harry can gaze upon him without shame or censure. No one would think him mad to say he hates Severus with every fiber of his being, and it’s every bit as true. How can he not hate Severus for all that he’s done to him? How even in sleep, with no words to cut him, Harry bleeds. Severus breathes, and Harry aches.
