Thought of a funny Erasermic plot. Do ya'll remember the commercials going around for that 'Marry Me' movie a while ago? I just stole the plot from that.

...

So it's an au where Shouta went to UA sports fest met oboro Nemuri Tensei became an underground hero started teaching ect ect just like cannon, but Hizashi went to Ketsubotsu instead. 

He was friends with Joke and Miruko. Instead of becoming a hero/radio host/teacher, he became a hero/radio host/popstar. He shot through the charts after graduating, becoming the number seven hero, a famous singer, and started dating Hawks at some point. 

Hizashi always dated Hawks with serious intentions, and he was under the impression that Hawks felt the same. But Hawks didn't, Hawks just wanted someone to fuck around with. 

Hizashi wants Hawks and his friends to be each other's friends, and Hawks doesn't but it ends up happening anyway because Miruko is in both their friends groups. Hizashi wants them to move in together, announce their relationship, do other committed, couply things together, and Hawks doesn't but he dances around telling Hizashi this. He usually has a good excuse for why they don't do those things that throws Hizashi off the scent, but this all eventually boils over four years after their relationship begins when Hizashi finally asks Hawks to marry him and Hawks blurts out yes in a moment of panic.

(Meanwhile Aizawa deals with the start of cannon, the usj, training camp, All Mights retirement, moving into the dorms, ect ect)

Hawks is relieved the assignment to go undercover in the Lov comes just in time to save him from having to deal with the mess he's made with Hizashi (who is over the moon and oblivious to Hawk's horror) but then Hawks realizes that Dabi of the Lov is his first love and old flame Touya, who he thought had died in the same child soldier training program that made Hawks what he is today. Hawks starts an affair with Dabi. And Hizashi finds out about it in a devastating way right before he's due to go on stage at one of his concerts...

Meanwhile Ashido, Jiro, Kaminari...maybe some others...get permission to leave the dorms to go to one of Present Mic's concerts, and Aizawa is roped into shaperoning them. They're standing in the crowd when one of the kids shoves a cardboard sign into Aizawa's hands that says 'Marry Me!' and rushes off to go to the bathroom.

Mic sees the scruffy hobo in the crowd holding a 'Marry Me' sign and in his grief and rage (and also slightly drunk) he says 'bet!' He signals Aizawa out, accepts his 'proposal' in front of God and everyone, and then invites him on stage. The crowd and Aizawa's kids bully him into going on stage, where up close he looks at Mic and internally goes, 'oh no, he's hot!' And Mic is internally relieved that the scruffy hobo could pull off 'ruggedly handsome' up close too.

Mic kisses Aizawa, and Aizawa is still stuck in 'oh no, he's hot!' mode so he actually goes along with it. Then Mic announces their engagement and shoves Aizawa backstage to deal with after the show, and Aizawa is like 'oh hell no' but Joke and/or Miruko are backstage and don't let him sneak away. Joke is laughing her ass off, and pretending to be offended that Aizawa never proposed to her.

And bla bla Hizashi and Aizawa eventually twisty fanfic logic their way into a fake dating au from there, (insert shenanigans where Mic tries to make Hawks jealous, insert a funny scene where the media accuses Aizawa of craving the spotlight or something) and then they fall in love and actually start dating, and then they actually get married and Mic retires from singing to become a teacher at UA happily ever after the end. Also Aizawa's 1a kids die from the sheer joy of getting to witness this entire dumpster fire.

I like to collect really old books with interesting little things written in the covers from second hand sales. Here's my most recent acquisition, a Gregg Shorthand dictionary from 1929. On the title page is hand written in pencil:

"True friendship is like china

Beautiful but rare

If broken may be mended

But the crack is always there"

One of my most interesting finds! This book is older than I am, and it will be 100 years old in 2029! Just thought I'd share it.

Sooo just spent the last half an hour putting various iterations of Present Mic's name into one of those art generators! Here's the highlights!

So I got a few people who liked my last post about the old books I collect, so I thought I'd post another one!

This is the Practical Mechanic's Pocket Book, published in 1851!

That's right, this book is 171 years old! Probably the oldest in my collection. But a book has to be more than old to catch my attention; it's also got to have something interesting hand written in it by a previous owner, and this one was particularly relatable to me!

On the inside cover is written a math problem-the one on top-that leads me to believe that in the year 1916, someone picked this book up and did the math to figure out how old it was. (The answer was 65 years old at the time!) And of course, sense humans will be human no matter the year, I had to add my own equation! (The one on bottom)

Another interesting find was this peice of paper.

I found this on my floor the same day I took the book home; I'm preeeety sure it fell out of the Mechanic's Pocket Book? But I brought a couple of other old books home that day, so I can't be certain. But either way, apparently someone, somewhere, somewhen, was invested in building a catapult, lol.

Another interesting thing was the cover, which had this interesting fold in the back to close it...

I haven't seen many old books like that. I also found the old adds in the back stangly engaging;

So that's the Practical Mechanic's Pocket Book! Kind of neat!

New old book!

This isn't that old compared to some of my other collection (published in 1956), but it had an interesting note inside, so I got it anyway.

Introducing The Signal Corps: The Emergency! Once owned by Charles Hudson of the Signal Intelligence Agency, appearently.

I googled the name, but didn't find anyone that seemed like were definitely the person who owned this book, but oh well 🤷

I was thinking about an old audio post that I saw on here a few years ago. I know I reblogged it but now I can’t find it anywhere.

It was one of those “characters added to smash bros with the crunchy Wii remote speaker” audio posts. It was suburban mother and the audio was “I guess I’m just the worst mom ever, eh?”
