Danse Serpentine performed by loïe fuller, directed and produced by Auguste and Louis Lumière, 1897 - the film was originally filmed in black and white, then hand colored frame by frame, depicting the effect of the light illuminating her dress and changing colors with each movement

The quality is bad, but it’s worth it. I like most of the serpentine dance films in early cinema, but this one by Alice Guy is unbelievable!
