The Divide

Who is this body that I occupy?

I do not know her.

I only know of the 𝘐 that lives in my mind

Strong and kind, smart yet blind.

He is the true 𝘐

I am not the flesh that I was born in, but the mind I grew into.

I am the brain I can escape to and enjoy my time in.

The brain that calls me by my name.

The brain who is he, and therefore, 𝘐.

However, the divide still exists

The divide that tears me out of my mind

The divide that reminds me of 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 I am

The divide that gives no care to my mind

The divide between my (?) body and 𝘐.
