Las tormentas siempre me hacen sentir tan pequeño.

Aunque los veranos  en general estaban hechos de sol y calor, los veranos para mí tenían que ver con  tormentas que iban y venían, y me dejan sintiendo sólo.

¿Todos los chicos se sentían solos?

okay but imagine:

+ aristotle telling dante he loves him randomly throughout the day like when he just passes him in the hallway

+ dante drawing ari and in return for his time ari teaches dante spanish: as dante draws ari he calls out spanish words and without looking up from the paper dante rustily tries to pronounce the word in the best way he can, saying them syllable by syllable. ari laughs when dante tries but fails and dante learns to laugh at himself too. he grabs dante’s hand and says the word slower, gliding his fingers over dante’s until he gets it. im so soft

+ dante starting to call aristotle “Angel” as a pet name like “Will you grab that for me, Angel.” ari can never tell if he’s calling him an actual angel—which he doesnt think he deserves cause look at dante i meannn—or if he’s calling him by his given first name but he suddenly likes that name wow

+ when ari wakes up from a nightmare all he has to do is tap dante on the shoulder and he immediately shoots up and lays ari’s head down on his lap and runs his fingers through his hair and sings a slow song to him in what seems like an angelic whisper

+ their parents intentionally have double date nights to give them time alone, dante doesnt mind he just sees it as an opportunity to pounce on ari but ari thinks its a little odd

+ ari only ever cuts his hair to the length he knows dante likes and dante keeps his hair cut short because he knows thats what ari likes

+ dante teases ari about how his parents had to tell him he was gay, ari gets mad, and dante’s way of saying sorry is just giving him a bunch of kisses while ari half-assed-ly yells at him

+ ari grabs dante’s hand out in public and when he can feel dante’s pulse rising he just squeezes his hand and flashes him that smile that dante loves

+ dante still whistles whenever ari takes off his shirt in front of him

+ ari still blushes when dante’s hand is anywhere within a 10,000 mile radius of his thigh

+ sam and soledad know all about ari and dante’s date nights so when they eat with them they just sit there waiting for the tea to be spilled

+ dante takes ari’s hands under the table at dinner and ari just places his hand on dante’s thigh

+ ari takes dante to aunt ophelia’s house for the tuscon pride parade after dante begs and begs to go
