Prompt #16 Dante picking Chris over Morrison 💔
Yeah, about just a short cheating fic (Cause I love soft Dante x Morrison too much)? _______________________________________________________________
It was admittedly a terrible idea to sleep with a client, but when the man offers to buy you dinner and even offers to help you out with jobs to help you climb out of debt, well, how can anyone expect Dante to say no? Did that make him a gold digger? Not necessarily. He did genuinely enjoy Chris Redfield’s company, and the man was admittedly attractive. Probably didn’t help that he was an Alpha...and the father of the little half-demon babies currently fluttering around the office due to a one-night stand.
Well, he didn’t know if they were Chris’s...or Morrison’s, but Dante had to guess that they were Chris’s because, despite the color of his scales, Reddie wasn’t named after them like his brothers. No, the little half-demon was named “Red” because of the little tuft of red that peeked through the mop of white hair. And last time he checked, and asked, Morrison didn’t have any red-heads in his family.
Chris on the other hand...well, ask his little sister, Claire...the red-head.
Dante sure as hell didn’t have any red-heads that he knew of. His mother had been a blonde and his father had the same snow white hair as him, Vergil and Nero. He couldn’t shapeshift and change his hair like Vergil could, but who the hell only knew what else Vergil knew how to do, so the red-hair couldn’t have come from Dante. Though apparently, through the “recessive genes” from his Mom, as Patty put it, he could make a red-headed baby with another person with those genes.
Whatever the hell those were.
Either way, through sex and genes, that’s how he ended up with two salt and pepper haired babies and a white and red-headed one. And scales. And wings, both of which made them look more part dragon and part human than the half demon and half human babies that were supposed to be.
Either way, Dante couldn’t bring himself to admit that the babies weren’t actually Morrison’s, especially after all the man had done and continued to do for him and Patty, when the little girl turned young woman came around. It would have broken his heart and Dante didn’t want to lose him due to a stupid mistake. Besides, the babies didn’t have any distinguishable features outside of their hair, scales, wings and tails. Their human faces looked like normal little babies.
So, he never told him the truth about their father, going along with the story that Reddie, Greenie, and Blue were actually Morrison’s. He never intended to.
