Danziger Projects
Love to Love | Kate Moss
"The Kate Moss Portfolio and Other Stories" opened this weekend at Danziger Projects in Chelsea. Brilliantly curated by James Danziger's, the exhibit features eleven 30 x 24 prints of Kate Moss by photographers including Chuck Close, Mert + Marcus, David Sims, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino and Inez Van Lamsweerde + Vinoodh Matadin. Perhaps most intriguing are photos capturing Moss' first visit to New York City, as well as other rarely seen works by Herb Ritts and Mary McCartney.
One of our favorites of Kate above. Captured by Corinne Day for THE FACE, July 1990.
Danziger Projects Put on an Exhibit For Kate Moss
Danziger Projects has dedicated an exhibit to Kate moss and her fashion portfolio titled, "Kate Moss Portfolio and Other Stories.”
The exhibit will have photographs of Kate Moss by some of the most famous and artistic photographers, such as Terry Richardson, Chuck Close, Juergen Teller, Bruce Wever, Mert & Marcus, and Maria Testino.
James Danziger, the show's co-curator spoke of Kate Moss and the event saying, “I think that Kate Moss is not so much a model or a supermodel, but an artist-model, There is a quality that she has that inspires photographers to do their best and create something that is both the epitome of their style and also takes them as far into [the place] where art meets fashion and where fashion meets art.”
You can check out the event at Danziger Projects at 527 West Twenty-third Street in New York, until June 30th.
