Danzing Candy Returns to the Winner’s Circle

Danzing Candy, 2016 Kentucky Derby contender, has found the winner’s circle again after going winless for over a year.
The event was a one mile Allowance Claiming, with a purse of $63,000. Danzing Candy, the 8-5 favorite, won the race by 1 1/4 lengths with a final time of 1:34:94. The classy contention included graded stakes winner Accelerate, who came in second, stakes placed Clever Royal came in for third, and stakes winner Ike Walker finished fourth. Rounding out the field was stakes winner Avanti Bello and stakes placed Lieutenant Colonel.
Danzing Candy (Twirling Candy- Talking and Singing, by Songandaprayer) still has the same connections as he did during the Triple Crown. His record now stands at 9: 4-1-1 with earning of $425,930.
