Delete extras from a hairstyle
Some hairstyles come with an accessory like earings or a hairband etc. which we don’t like.
I will show you how you can easily get rid of the unwanted extras, so that you don’t have to bother the mod creator… that means me! Just kidding! :D
Programms you will need:
gff4editor by Mephales
Procedure:
Load with the ggf editor, the mmh. file of the hairstyle with the unwanted accessory.
Hair M1 = scalp
Hair M2 = the hairstyle
Hair M3 = the accessory: earrings, circlets, squirrels, hair bands
As you can see, Nr. 8 in the category mmh_children stores the accessory info. You can see the name of the acessories maofile. In our example it’s: pn_har_NCTrixie_01.
You must delete it.
Click on the entry 6999 MMH_Children
Go to the bottom of the gff4 window and select the 8th entry
Click remove
Click save (bottom left corner) then save the mmh file- > save as and just let it overwrite the old one.
Finished
You will not always have 3 chunks (Hair M1-3). Sometimes there are more and you could maybe delete the wrong entry. To avoid this, just look at the file name of the mao file of the accessory and find this name in the mmh_children category.. and then delete it.
