This is Battery City and no child has ever had it easy here, so why would Daphne be different? Well guess what she’s not, Daphne’s parents had a rather large secret. Under their quaint little bakery they had been hiding a brothel, a place filled with gambling, booze, and sex. Daphne’s mother groomed the child rather early so that when a gentlemen wanted company and they preferred someone under the age of 16 they would ask for Daphne, as far as everyone was concerned Daphne was just a little gang girl; because what parents would put their children in that type of situation. So poor Daphne was a bit too well versed in sex by the age of 12. This was the only lifestyle Daphne knew and it stayed like that for along time. It wasn’t until her parents had begun to bring in other girls that she knew something wasn’t right. Daphne begun to notice little traces of neglect through out the brothel, and she wasn’t going to have it anymore. She began to stand up to her parents even though it always ended up with her locked away she eventually fought back. She had planned it all out perfectly, she would simply kill her parents and take over the brothel and make things different. No more children, and no more creepy old men wanting that kind of company. It was on her 22nd birthday that she decided to take over. She would make her parents death look like an accident, and what better way then a car accident. She would kill them in her home of course, but in order to stage it she’d have to put them in a car and simply put it in neutral and send it off a cliff. That was exactly what she had done. The car had went up into flames when it crashed, which of course was a god send because it meant that any sort of evidence that would be tied to her was now gone. Charred remains at the bottom of a gorge.  When the cops came to tell her of the news Daphne made sure to put on a show and boy was it a show. Did they believer her? She wasn’t quite sure, but it seems no one else has really questioned what had happened and they still haven’t. Daphne works at the Bakery now, of course making her wonderful little breads, and cakes but unknown to those on the main floor just below their feet you could always go enjoy some whiskey with that cake.
