Not his real name, of course, but it was a nickname. A nickname he still, to this day, never understood why he took. Perhaps it was his way of holding onto his adolescence. But when his age crept up on him it was time to grow up. Time to change, and that’s exactly what Kid did. He dropped the name, and he ran away from his past. He ran far away from what he had once been – he didn’t want to do it anymore. He didn’t think he had any fight left in him; this was the better option. He left everyone and everything behind, to focus on a better life for himself. There wasn’t much left for him back in those days, anyway. Everyone he had grown close to had simply just let him leave; he wasn’t against those people and wished them no ill-will – but in reality the whole thing was better off.  So Kid was dead, and Simon was born. Simon Castle, the once loud, overbearing asshole, had changed himself into a more reserved, hardworking individual. It was the best thing he did for himself. Time flew by so quickly and Simon slowly began to get his life in a different motion. He got into medical school, and made sure no one knew the secrets of his past – the part that was involved with the anti-Government rebellion. He was just a normal civilian now, but of course, he was hiding away in plain sight. The more life went on, the easier things began to get. No one was the wiser. He has become one of the new pediatricians in Battery City, has an amazing fiancée, so he feels he has his life is finally in order; he just hopes it stays that way. Personality: Hardworking, ethical, intelligent, private, rigid Secret: “I live in constant fear that my past is going to resurface and destroy the life I have created for myself.”
