I’d like to clarify that the shoes I just purchased are in fact toe cap derby brogue shoes and not oxford shoes and I am both ashamed of my ignorance and deeply amused by British ingenuity. 

(I’ve just spent an hour researching men’s dress shoes because procrastination is strong with me)
