So, we all know that the Federation seems to be doing experiments with life and death and creatures right?

So where does Badboyhalo come into the picture? It's been implied they invited him and arranged for muffins specially for him, and that Badboyhalo is not a threat to the goals of the federation.

Couple this with the bbh lore about how he's been associated with atlantis, vesuvius, the ice age etc, and his claim 'I am death, Pomme' it seems like Bad may have been invited specifically because of his association with tragedy and death.

A couple of possible aims of the federation:

They are studying the properties of modified humans /creatures isolated on a island

Q!Bad is the controlled variable to see how 'death' would affect the residents

They are testing how 'death', qbbh works in bringing mass destruction and if their modified experimental humans mitigate it

Qbbh is the one who commissioned the island experiments in hopes of breaking the cycle of him causing disasters

The island is a containment facility for mysterious and dangerous people/ people and experiments with strange qualities. (immortality, death, hybrids etc)

As for the eggs I believe they were added as another variable to see how the residents react. Probably meant to create conflict between the residents as was the Election arc.
