Dappled Pelt! She is a tribe cat in Dawn of the Clans, and was one of the original cats that had some knowledge of healing. She moves around between the groups for a while, spending some time on the moor, some time with Clear Sky's cats in the forest, but settles with Riverstar in Riverclan when the prophecy of the blazing star is given. She is the first Riverclan medicine cat as chosen by Starclan, in Moth Flight's Vision. In Riverstar's Home, she is a steadying presence in Riverclan, and helps Night lead the clan in Riverstar's absence when he goes back to the Park with Arc. Her very first appearance however was in the 2007 field guide as Dapplepelt, and was described as reckless and brave. She certainly continues to hunt and has skill in battle which might make her seem bold by today's standards of almost pacifistic medicine cats, but I consider her to be more confident and quick to action than reckless.
