As a mun, what are three of your biggest flaws when it comes to being someone’s RP partner?
Flaw 1: My reply lengths. I find it very difficult to do long replies, and I’m constantly racking my brain trying to find other things to do, say, or mention, to the point that I’m constantly self conscious.
Flaw 2: I’m clingy and impatient. I want to get my replies out asap, but not everyong is the same, and in the bsd fandom at least people take their time crafting replies. I jump to conclusions that someone taking a long time means they no longer want to speak to me. I have lost a friend over my attitude and I am constantly trying to improve my attitude so I don’t hurt anyone else.
Flaw 3. I like angsty stuff a lot, and in the past I have suddenly turned a benign or fluffy rp thread into something sad and morbid without warning, which naturally leads to a dropped thread. Tying in with the last flaw, I need to be more considerate of my rp partners and try to remember to communicate with them more.
What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to RPing?
My biggest pet peeve that comes to mind is probably when I see someone using their rp account as their personal account and do “munday” stuff more than actual roleplaying or posting to do with the fandom. I understand and respect that it’s their account to do with as they wish, but I usually end up unfollowing them to keep my dash clean.
