Being the southern boy that he was, Semaj knew what he was doing in the kitchen; for the most part. He could cook a few meals to get by, some of those meals very well, but his cooking skills could never touch his mother and father's - let alone all of the elders in his family, including a few of his relatives that were his age or younger. Which was why he didn't hesitate to jump at the opportunity to be apart of Darcy's cooking show. He'd actually been a casual watcher of the show for quite some time - always watching it while he was on the road during football season. He'd even gotten a few of his teammates to watch with him from time to time. Semaj couldn't deny the fact that he was a fan.
"I'm really glad I got the chance to be on your show. When my agent said that they were looking for an athlete to be a guest, I made sure she locked the deal down." He was all smiles, as per usual. "Especially when they said I could choose what we cooked. As a southern man, I've always felt a little guilty I can't make gumbo. Hopefully you can help me out with that, yeah?"
