Day 6 of the Dare2BareChallenge asks us to post about our daily rituals that help keep us grounded and connected with nature... Well, I do not always sit in this pose but I do love to put my feet in the grass and just sit and listen to the sounds that are around me. I am lucky that there is not much traffic on my block and I am serenaded by the sounds of birds, frogs, chickens, and roosters. 😁⠀ ⠀ Serenity has a new meaning for me. Living in Germany has really given me the chance to take in the fresh air and reflect on life. And with the recent changes in my life, I have come to the head of the identity crisis that I have been enduring for the last 4 years. It is interesting to me that I always thought I was about keeping busy doing things, going places, meeting with people, etc. But now that I don't have to and can just sit with myself, it is so refreshing. Don't get me wrong, I miss the excitement of it all but there is nothing like peace....⠀ ⠀ I hope that you can implement a ritual in your life that will allow you to have a moment of reflection and peace, even if it is only for 2 minutes. Make the time for yourself because only you can.⠀ ⠀ **you see my darn Popeye calves and thick legs never let me get this darn pose right. I have to do more stretching so I can get those muscles to lay down!
